About Me

ANNIE: If I had to describe myself the words "crazy" "immature" and "commitmentphobe" would be on the top of the list. Think stereotypical guy and you have me. I'm 25 and have rarely felt the need to settle down and make babies. I'm fiercely independent and love my "me" time. However, that all changed when I gave Mr. McHale a second chance ....

MCHALE: My better half. The best words to describe him include "silly" "gamer" slacker" and "amazing". He's the man who plays the role of best friend and boyfriend. He is one of the few people who understand me and love me "as is". His steady love and reassurances have changed my outlook on forever love.

OUR LOVE STORY (the short version): I met McHale when I was a senior in high school. He was a lowly freshman but the cutest freshman I had ever seen. I've always been attracted to younger guys because I'm a total kid at heart. In typical high school romance fashion, we broke it off for some uber silly reason. We chit chatted over the next 8 years through basic training, college, girlfriends, boyfriends, fiances, jobs in the real world, etc. And then one day in early 2012, we both ended up single and about a mile apart. Our friendship grew over the next couple of weeks/months and turned into something stronger than my high school self could ever imagine.

WHY START A BLOG?: This blog is my gift to Mr. McHale. I'm a lover of words. I think and express myself best when I am writing. Add that to the fact that I am head over heels in love with love letters and badabing badaboom ... you have a blog full of love letters. All of which are dedicated to my amazing future husband.
